Sport story ideas for gym and running
Sport stories are about progress: a new personal record, a finished race, a workout you didn’t skip. This category has two sides – bold gym and fitness frames for one strong photo, and running layouts with space for your bib, distance and splits.
- Gym and fitness. Neon Fitness, Neon Workout, Power Frame, Red Splash, Never Give Up and No Limits each frame one photo with bold, high-energy graphics – a mirror selfie, a heavy lift, the end of a class. Adrenaline Zone fits four photos from an adventure weekend – rafting, paragliding, ATV or a zipline.
- Race day. Race Bib Day (2 photos) is made for a half marathon or any race – the bib, the medal, the finish. My Run Diary turns three photos into a running journal page.
- Run stats. Run Stats Card (1 photo) and New PR Splits (1 photo) are made for numbers – distance, time, pace, kilometre splits. Run Terminal (2 photos) shows your run like a screen of data.
- The weekly long run. Sunday Run Strip lines up four photos like a film strip – the run club, the route, the coffee after.
How to make a sport story
- Pick 1–4 photos in Allapulla.
- Open Sport; only templates for that photo count are shown.
- Choose one – the photos drop into the frames automatically. Move or zoom to keep your face or the bib in view.
- Type your own stats or line, then share to Instagram Stories or WhatsApp, or save it.
What to post
- New PR: the time, the distance and “new PR” – New PR Splits has room for the splits.
- Race: bib, finish line, medal; write the race name and your time.
- Gym: “leg day”, the weight you lifted, or your streak (“day 30”).
- Weekly: the Sunday long run with the route, the view and the distance.
Tips
- Shoot in good light; neon frames look best with a clear, bright photo.
- Keep numbers in the middle of the story – Instagram covers the top and bottom. See the story size guide.
- Collect your runs or workouts in a highlight with matching highlight covers.
