The journal look, without glue and scissors
A scrapbook story makes your photos look collected rather than posted – stuck on paper, pinned to a board or tucked into a notebook. It suits slow, personal moments: a summer day, a city break, a quiet weekend, a month you want to remember.
- Polaroids. Beige Polaroids (3 photos) and Polaroid Wall (6) lay out your photos as instant prints. Great for a trip or a day with friends.
- Torn paper. Torn Paper (2), Torn Paper Trio (3) and Beige Paper Memories (2) put your photos between ripped paper edges for that cut-out feel.
- Notebook pages. Dear Diary and Lined Page hold a single photo on a diary or lined page; Spiral Notebook places two photos in a spiral-bound notebook. Pinned Paper (2) pins them to a sheet.
- Paint and print. Painted Strokes (1), Pastel Waves (2), Desert Brush (3) and Indigo Brushstrokes (4) use brush marks; Newsprint Frame (4) mixes your photos with newspaper scraps.
- Mood pages. Sunny & Slow (3) for lazy summer days, City Adventure (2) for a day exploring a new place.
How to make a scrapbook story
- Select your photos in Allapulla – between one and six.
- Open Scrapbook; only layouts for that photo count are shown.
- Pick a page – the photos fall into the frames on their own. Move or zoom any photo to adjust the crop.
- Replace the note with your own words and share to Instagram Stories, WhatsApp or your gallery.
Tips for a real scrapbook feel
- Choose warm, soft photos – film-like colours suit paper textures.
- Write like a diary: a date, a place, or a short line such as “the best kind of slow day”.
- Mix one close detail (a ticket, a coffee, a flower) with a wider shot.
- Keep the note away from the very top and bottom, which Instagram covers.
